Jeff Hammond

Distinguished Engineer, NVIDIA

Jeff Hammond is a Distinguished Engineer in the data center software organization at NVIDIA, focused on GPU communications for AI applications.  He has worked on high-performance computing software and hardware platforms for almost 20 years at Argonne National Laboratory, Intel, and NVIDIA.  Jeff’s research interests include parallel computing algorithms and software, computational chemistry, and numerical methods; he has more than 90 papers on these topics.  He received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Chicago in 2009.
