Jeff Hammond

Distinguished Engineer, NVIDIA

Jeff Hammond is a Distinguished Engineer in the data center software organization at NVIDIA, focused on GPU communications for AI applications.  He has worked on high-performance computing software and hardware platforms for almost 20 years at Argonne National Laboratory, Intel, and NVIDIA.  Jeff’s research interests include parallel computing algorithms and software, computational chemistry, and numerical methods; he has more than 90 papers on these topics.  He received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Chicago in 2009.

Jussi Vihersalo, Head of Business Development CPS EMEA is leading Business Development for Critical Power Solutions (3ph UPS) and Datacentres for Eaton EMEA. Jussi’s team is acting as a bridge between Business unit and sales/customers, main responsibilities being growth planning, business intelligence, commercial advisory/approval, driving new technology and mapping future customer needs.

Michel Fraisse

CTO & Vice President, Huawei Europe

Michel FRAISSE hold a Master of Science from CPE engineering school (FRANCE) & a Master of Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University (USA).He has 36 years of experience dealing with the IT, Datacenter & Telecom power industry. From 1990 until 2002, Michel held a number of positions at Schneider Electric culminating in his position as Global Marketing Director for the UPS Network and Telecom markets.

Michel then moves to Eltek a leading manufacturer of Telecom Power solutions where he was the Executive Vice President in charge of Global Sales, Marketing and Product Management as well as the European Regional President. He was also Board member.

Michel joint Huawei in January 2016 as Europe Vice President for Huawei Network Energy product line. Michel is currently the CTO & Vice President of Site Power Domain at Huawei Digital Power Europe.

Bouke van der Weerdt

Chief Technology Officer, Huawei

Bouke van der Weerdt is the CTO for Huawei's Digital Power department in the Benelux and Ireland. He is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working at various positions in the Solar Inverter and Battery Energy Storage industry. Graduated in 2005 from the Saxion University of Applied Sciences with a specialist thesis in Power Conversion Technology and Energy Distribution Networks, there are few mysteries left for him when it comes to power electronics and their interactions with the public energy grid.

Poikola has started leading the Finnish Data Center Association in early 2026. He is motivated by the long-term development of the Finnish data center industry. Finland is known worldwide as a country of sustainable data centers – we must take full advantage of this position and build a strong Finnish ecosystem of expertise around data center investments. Before joining the Finnish Data Center Association, he has worked, among others, in the Technology Industry and Sitra. Poikola has extensive experience in information and technology policy, influencer communications, and building national and European networks.
