Terms & conditions


Spring seminar 2026. 


These Terms and Conditions, including the FDCA Privacy Policy and any applicable Code of Conduct (jointly the "Terms"), set out the rules for participating in the Spring Seminar 2026 organized by the Finnish Data Center Association (hereinafter “FDCA”).

By registering for and/or participating in the Spring Seminar 2026, you (the "User") agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Registration and Admission


 The Spring Seminar 2026 is a free event, but prior registration is mandatory. Users are responsible for submitting accurate and complete information during registration.

  • Event Badges: Upon arrival at the event, your registration will be verified, and you will be issued a printed badge. It is imperative to handle your badge with care and ensure it is visible at all times throughout the event. FDCA assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, or damaged badges. Access to the event premises will be denied without a valid printed badge.

2. Personal Data and Swapcard Networking App (GDPR Compliance)


FDCA collects and processes your personal data to manage your event registration and enhance your event experience. All data processing is strictly subject to the FDCA Privacy Policy.

  • Swapcard Integration: To facilitate networking, communication, and schedule management during the Spring Seminar 2026, FDCA utilizes a third-party event application called Swapcard. By registering for this event, you acknowledge and agree that your basic registration data (such as name, title, company, and email address) will be securely transferred to Swapcard to create your attendee profile.
  • Your Privacy Rights: You have full control over your data within the Swapcard platform. Upon logging in, you can manage your profile visibility, adjust your networking preferences, or opt out of being visible to other attendees.
  • Legal Authorities: FDCA will only share your personal data with third parties outside of our event partners if required by law, or to cooperate with Finnish legal authorities (e.g., The Police of Finland, Supo) if strictly necessary.

3. Media Policy


By participating in the Spring Seminar 2026, the User consents to being photographed and video-recorded. FDCA retains the right to use such media for publications, websites, videos, social media, and other marketing activities without further written permission or compensation. Users are welcome to capture their own photos and videos for personal or professional sharing, provided they respect the privacy of other attendees and FDCA's intellectual property. 

4. General Rules and Restrictions


In order to attend any FDCA Event, the User must be in possession of a ticket purchased or assigned to them through a FDCA Service. FDCA’s failure to enforce a right does not mean that FDCA has waived that right. FDCA may assign its rights and obligations under the Terms. 

5. Code of Conduct and Safety


FDCA is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment. We reserve the right to expel any individual who does not comply with laws, regulations, or these Terms. Offensive, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior will lead to immediate removal from the event premises.

6. Event Changes and Cancellations


 In the process of registering for FDCA event, each User is responsible and liable for submitting precise and complete information. If, for any reason, submitted data is found to be materially inaccurate or in violation of the Terms, FDCA reserves the right to revoke the ticket without any form of compensation.

7. Intellectual Property


The FDCA and Spring Seminar brand names, logos, and materials are owned by FDCA and may not be copied or used without prior written consent.

8. Governing Law and Disputes


These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Finnish law. The English language version of these Terms shall be considered the basis for any interpretation. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be settled in the first instance by the Helsinki District Court.
